'Grimm' in Gifs: Major Gross-out Time!

"A Dish Best Served Cold" is one of the most disgusting episodes of Grimm ever made. Some fans thought it was a little much, while others just kept the realization that it was all fake at the the forefront of their minds.

The episode starts out with a shirtless, muscly Nick doing a treadmill workout in the doctor's office. That was a very smart way to start the show, as the women of Twitter shared a collective swoon. Behold:




The second smartest way to start off an episode of "Grimm" is a scene between "Monrosalee" that is so cute-sweet-adorable, that many women are suddenly stricken by oochy-coochy-cuddle syndrome. Monroe and Rosalee go out to dinner, and Rosalee steals Monroe's appetizer for fear that the strapping vegan wolf-man may "fall off the meat wagon."




She doesn't realize it at the time, but Rosalee has actually saved her handsome Blutbad from a horrible death. The kitchen is full of Bauerschwein (pig-people), and the head chef has been packing a special kind of mushroom into that appetizer, which is deadly only to Blutbaden.



The toxic black despair mushroom normally affects carpenter ants, but for some reason, it also affects Blutbaden the same way, despite obviously different physical attributes. That's OK though, because it's fun to pretend that there are toxins that can cause wolf-men to climb up trees and howl until their stomachs explode from bloat. Well, maybe not fun, but definitely gruesome and horrible.

Unfortunately, Monroe knows two of the murdered Blutbaden, Sam and Ned (he also mentions Hap, in a nod to a previous episode), and boy is he furious! He wants to kill those pigs, but Nick helps him stop the guy through more peaceful means to avoid having our favorite Blutbad Wesen go to prison for the rest of his life.

Nick pretends to shoot Monroe dead in an effort to keep him from killing the chef ( but actually so the chef will not retaliate against Monroe). Then Monroe's Blutbaden friends threaten the chef with a horrible death unless he ends the Bauerschwein-Blutbaden feud and confesses to the murders. Monroe adds his own sentiment, forgetting he is supposed to be dead.





The chef finally confesses, lest he become bacon for the hungry wolves. A well-timed Beggin' strips commercial (dogs yelling for BACON!!!) and a corny line from Renard ("and this little piggy went to jail") sent some Twitter fans into a frenzy. 



Meanwhile, Nick is still turning into a zombie every now and then, becoming a sickening bluish-white color, and staring off into space. He doesn't seem to think that's a big deal. What is a big deal to him is moving back into his home with Juliette. Monroe helps him pack his things by stacking all of his boxes in front of his face, then removing the top one to reveal his friends, throwing him a surprise party!


The cake that Bud's wife made for the party is of special note, because it's just so darned gorgeous and yummy-looking.

Renard is searching for Frau, thinking that she may attempt to vie for the family business now that he had his own brother Eric murdered. He doesn't realize that Adalind took Frau's Hexenbiest powers for herself, which involved Stefania murdering Frau. Renard's spy searches for Frau, finding Adalind instead, and Adalind is much more conniving and evil than Frau ever was. The only thing that can make Adalind break out in bloody tears is learning that her beloved Eric is now dead.

    The tweets are too funny. This is one of my favorite shows but I hardly ever live tweet the shows I watched because I record them and watch them later in the week.

    I think this is my favorite Grimm gif-cap yet! I especially like the wolf guy exploding in the tree - awesome job. And, the tweets from this episode are so, so funny! I'm sorry you haven't been able to submit these to Yahoo, but glad we all get to enjoy them anyway. :)
