H is for Habits

I've finally begun keeping to my habits! How? Well, I backed a Kickstarter project for a book called Zen Habits. I only got the digital version, and I honestly wasn't expecting much going into it. I thought it was a good idea, but figured it wouldn't work, just like everything else.

I am happy to say that I was completely wrong! Now, different things work for different people. For example, my mother doesn't need a book to do her daily habits. But for me, this book is perfect. It speaks to me. It's exactly what I needed.

The gif below represents the very first habit I started through the Zen Habits book. I had been wanting to be able to do tricks the way I used to on my chin-up bar when I was a kid. I've started with hanging and pull-ups, until I can pull myself over. I already have the muscle memory, so I figure I'll be able to do it once I build up the strength to do it. So, that's what I'm working on now.
